Lampstand
Order of Worship for every Sunday, on every screen
Lampstand is a free church projection app, built so one laptop can run the whole service: songs, scripture, sermon slides and the live stream. Offline on Sunday morning, fitted to every screen in the room, and simple enough for a volunteer after ten minutes of training.
Free and open source (GPL-3.0), planned for Windows, macOS and Linux. Nothing to download yet: we’re building it in the open.
Prelude0:45
What the 45-second film shows (music, no narration)
Sunday, 9:58 a.m. The worship leader has shared the songs. Is the screen ready?
- Plan together. The team builds the service from home during the week; the projection laptop already has it on Sunday, with no internet needed.
- Fits every screen. A cropped TV, then the calibration grid, then lyrics sitting inside the safe area.
- Slides that just play. PowerPoint and Google Slides with their builds, video and speaker notes.
- Switch in an hour. Songs, sets, themes and media come across from OpenLP, EasyWorship, ProPresenter and FreeShow in one pass.
It ends on the Lampstand name: free and open source church projection for Windows, macOS and Linux.
